Our adventure of love began in the year 1983 and grows and continues to be stronger with each passing year.

A chance meeting with five school children playing cards at a traffic signal changed our Founder, Jyoti Tanna's life forever. Jyoti was curious to know the reason for their absence from the school. So she walked to them and brought them home to know more. Their responses stunned Jyoti. “Teachers beat us for no books & uniforms and father beats us when we ask for it at home.”

Jyoti then decided to do something to make a difference to their life. She proposed to provide them with everything they need to get back to the school along with the meal. Children were very happy to go back to the school.

The idea worked like magic. Three out of the five children continued going to school. Inspired with this success, Jyoti approached the Sion Municipal School in Mumbai and helped 25 children to begin with. Wanting to reach out to many, more children, EOTO was formed as a registered charitable trust.

EOTO today has grown manifold and has helped support and make a positive difference to the lives of about 5000 children till date.
